Advanced Handler Skills
Jump on board with this exciting class offering. We are looking for dog/handler teams that have completed Pet Dog 102 and that are ready to start proofing a comprehensive list of “good behavior” skills. The Advanced Handler Skills Class will be offering an opportunity for each team to improve on not only the dogs skills but more importantly on the handlers skills. This is a great class to prepare teams for Canine Good Citizen and Therapy Dog endeavors, and also a class that offers the opportunity for teams to work toward progressive training goals (and modified goals when appropriate). This class will include proofing a wide range of skills including, working around other dogs, greeting people politely, staying in place, recalls, leaving distractions alone, and much much more. Within each of these skills, there are a range of progressive goals for each team to work on. This will always keep teams challenged to progress to the next level and motivated to continue to progress with success. Advanced Handler Skills: Class Cancellation Policy Class Cancellation & Refund Policy Full Refund with 2 weeks notice prior to class start date. Requesting to transfer to another class is considered a cancellation and falls under above terms. Class Cancellations If we have to cancel class for any reason, we will schedule a make up class. |
