If your dog gets overly excited, barks, pulls, lunges, jumps on guests, nips during play, or struggles to settle, this talk will help you understand why—and what to do about it. You’ll learn how arousal builds, how it affects your dog’s behavior, and simple, effective ways to guide your dog back to a calm, focused state using clear communication and positive reinforcement. No complicated training required—just real-world tools you can start using right away to reduce chaos, improve listening, and create a more relaxed, connected relationship with your dog. You will also have time to ask any question you want! Saturday, July 25, 2026 $45 Aroused to Calm Dog Does your dog get over - stimulated by trucks, cars, motorcycles, lawnmowers, vacuums, squirrels, birds, humans, or dogs? This class is for you. Learn how to gain your dog's attention in the face of any stimuli. Focus, attention, connection, communication, collaboration, thresholds, desensitization, and counter conditioning will all be taught in this six week highly specialized class. The main theme here is how to change your dog's internal emotional state from one of over-aroused, to calm and well behaved. Prerequisite: This class is appropriate for dogs that have been through Pet Dog 101 and who can function in a class without excessive fear or barking. Aroused to Calm Dog class: Class Cancellation Policy Class Cancellation & Refund Policy Full Refund with 2 weeks notice prior to class start date.
